AHA Malic peel (Apple peel)

Increase collagen production, restore skin vitality.

Apple peel or AHA Malic peel can help to increase collagen production and  restore vitality skin.

Malic acid is a substance found naturally in apples and pears. This peel is the same type of mildly invasive peel derived from the extracts of apples. It can open up the pores, allow the pores to expel their sebum and reduce acne. Malic Acid has a positive balance of humectant and skin penetration properties, compared to other fruit acids. It refines, balances and regenerates the skin while minimizing lines and minor irregularities for a fresher and younger-looking complexion.

It moisturizes the stratum corneum by humectant action and promote exfoliation of the stratum corneum, which results in a thinner, more flexible stratum corneum and improved skin smoothness. Also increases epidermal and dermal firmness and thickness when used at high levels, this improves skin smoothness and reduces wrinkles.

What makes malic acid so special is that it has similar properties when compared to glycolic acid, but is less irritating to the skin. It has a thinning effect on the outermost layer of your skin. This means that malic acid can burn away the dead skin cells from the outermost layer of the skin, thereby allowing the younger and newer skin cells to shine through. Malic Acid is credited with boosting the immune system and balancing internal pH levels. It is also known for a host of skin benefits, such as improving skin texture and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. That’s because malic acid promotes the shedding of the outer layer of skin cells, exfoliating away build up and pore-clogging impurities, also penetrate the skin to support collagen production, restoring skin vitality, suppleness and elasticity. Malic acid improves hyperpigmentation by decreasing the production of melanin. It can be used in any season by people of any age and on skin of any type.

Malic acid could reverse the signs of aging and also help in increasing the production of collagen. In one study on malic acid was published in the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology in 2013, shows that it is very effective in treating short-term melasma. Malic acid exfoliates the skin so it becomes soft and supple. It also decreases the signs of aging by softening wrinkles. Malic acid is a weaker than glycolic acid
